Registering a Dragon Boat Team
Each team that registers will race 3 times on race day. All races will be on a 400m fully buoyed race course.
Team registration will be open until Friday, September 14th. Payment should be made at the time of registration. Final team rosters and Online Waivers are due no later than Monday, September 17th.
All of the necessary equipment will be supplied to your team during practice and the races including a boat, life vests, paddles and a steersperson/coach. Your team supplies the people to paddle (at least 4 must be women on the 10-person boat; 8 women minimum on the 20-person boat) and the drummer (the drummer doesn't need to have any drumming experience!).
Your team's registration includes 1 practice session, which will be scheduled in the week leading up to the event. You will also receive a space in the park where your team can set up a tent, camp chairs, coolers, etc to use as a rest area during the event.
